Hot Toddy and Smoked Salmon Baguette
4 oz 125 ml boiling water
1 tsp honey
1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 oz 60 ml Irish Whiskey or Bourbon
Dash of cinnamon
1 star anise
1 thin slice of lemon
Smoked Salmon Baguette:
1 pack Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Salmon Loin
4 tbsp cream cheese
1 small baguette
- Hot Toddy: Heat a cup of water in a tea kettle or on a stovetop. Pour the water into a heat safe cup or mug. Add the honey, lemon juice and cinnamon, stirring until dissolved. Pour in the whiskey or bourbon. Garnish with a star anise and lemon slice. Drink while it’s hot.
- Smoked Salmon Baguette: Top the baguette slices with a layer of cream cheese, Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Salmon, and fresh dill. Serve with Hot Toddy and enjoy!
