Ingredients
Smoked Salmon Nachos
8 oz Latitude 45 Smoke Roasted Salmon Flakes
1 bag (14 oz) tortilla chips
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chili peppers
1 tbsp chives
1 avocado (pitted & diced)
1/4 cup sour cream
Irish Julep
½ cup water
1 oz simple syrup
10 fresh mint leaves
3 oz Irish whiskey
1 cup crushed ice
Instructions
Smoked Salmon Nachos
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Place tortilla chips in a cast iron skillet. Top with salmon flakes, cheese, chili peppers & chives.
- Bake in the oven for 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with avocado & sour cream and bring to the party!
Irish Julep
- Boil water & sugar in a medium saucepan on low heat, until syrup has thickened. Remove from heat & let cool.
- Place an ounce of syrup in two cocktail glasses. Place 4 mint leaves in each glass & crush with the back of a wooden spoon.
- Add 1 1/2 oz of whiskey to each glass & pour ½ cup of the crushed ice.
- Top each glass with another 1 1/2 ounces of whiskey & the rest of the crushed ice. Garnish with extra mint leaves & toast for luck!
