Ingredients
Hot Cocoa:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
Dash of salt
1/3 cup hot water
4 cups milk
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
15 large marshmallows
Smoked Salmon Baguette:
2 packs Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Salmon 10oz Loin
3 medium baguettes
Small red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh spinach
Instructions
Hot Cocoa:
1. Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan. Add water; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in milk; heat to serving temperature (do not boil). Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Whisk until frothy. Top each cup with 3 large marshmallows.
Smoked Salmon Baguette:
2. Cut each whole baguette in half, vertically, to create an open-faced sandwich. You will have 1 extra half. Optional: toast each half as desired.
3. Place about 4oz of Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Salmon Loin on each baguette half. Top with red onion slices and spinach leaves, to taste. Serve and enjoy!
4. Pour into 6 bowls. Top each bowl with 1-3 slices of Latitude 45 Cold Smoked Salmon Loin and garnish with chives. Serve warm and enjoy!
