Lavender Panna Cotta Served with Smoked Salmon

1 pack of Latitude 45 smoked salmon loin
¼ cup cold water
2 ¼ teaspoon powdered gelatin
2 cups cream
¼ castor sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon dried lavender
purple food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Once ready, serve the panna cotta with Latitude 45 smoked salmon loin
- Place the cold water and gelatin powder in a small bowl and set aside for 5-10 minutes
- Meanwhile, combine the cream, sugar, vanilla extract and lavender in a small saucepan over medium heat
- Allow mixture to simmer for a few minutes then remove the saucepan from the heat
- Stir in the gelatin mixture and food coloring (if adding)
- Pour into 4 small glasses and place in fridge for at least 4 hours
- Decorate panna cotta with fresh lavender.
